PvE Shield Is Here and many more.
Oct 12, 2026
- PvE Shield: Added one hour of protected grinding per account each day. Only protected online time counts; remaining time is saved when logging out. Protection is for normal monsters on eligible PvP maps.
- Shield cooldowns: Healing/buffing another player ends protection with a 30-minute cooldown; attacking bosses or special monsters gives one hour; attacking players gives three hours. Recent-use checks prevent bypassing these restrictions.
- Shield corrections: Fixed ordinary monsters incorrectly triggering the boss cooldown. Being attacked by another player no longer incorrectly counts as initiating PvP and blocks activation.
- Shield interface: Improved button click areas, alignment and appearance. The shortcut can be dragged and snaps to screen edges. Clicking it opens or closes the panel. Protected players display "PvE Shield ON" above their character.
- Interface controls: Fixed the shield interface leaving movement stuck until Alt-Tab. Character and inventory shortcuts now work while hovering over the Shield or Event windows.
- Meditation skills: Fixed passive stat bonuses not updating immediately when activated, and stale bonuses remaining after deactivation.
- Monster damage calculations: Fixed an overflow that could turn high Chi Kung damage into very low damage after reducing a monster's defense. Also corrected an overflow in trap damage.
- Healer Targeting: Restored the overhead marker on marked monsters and players.
- Monster visibility: Fixed several death, disappearance and respawn synchronization issues that could leave dead monster afterimages or inconsistent visibility between players.
- Dungeon reconnects: Corrected a dungeon identification error that could reject a valid reconnect and return the character to town.
- Login recovery: Fixed a logout cleanup failure that could leave an account stuck at "Already logged in" after disconnecting.
- Login position: Fixed a client-side issue that could replace valid saved coordinates with a map-entry position when logging back in.
- Quest recovery: Eligible failed quests now recover automatically without requiring players to search the completed quest list. Fixed the invalid saved completion-count error blocking some retries, along with Master/Disciple quest condition checks.
- NPC shops: Added recovery for stalled sales that previously required relogging. Corrected stack-purchase quantities, including purchases of 100 or 255 items.
- Combining and Separating Tools: Fixed stale action locks, missing equipment previews, overflowing item names and overlapping button artwork. "Change item" clears the selection without removing attached ornaments.
- Weapon effects: Fixed weapon glow disappearing after map changes, including missing effects on other players.
- Dungeon camera: Removed the repeated shaking during the dungeon's final escape stage while preserving other gameplay camera effects.
- Trading and inventory: Fixed trade offers that could hide items locally without sending the offer. Compatible stackable accessories now merge into an existing bag stack when unequipped.
- Storage: Improved layout, scaling and button click areas, reduced 50/60-slot rental prices, and strengthened purchase validation.
- Performance: Improved Alt-Tab recovery and scenery visibility calculations, including handling of scaled map objects.
- Game data: Included updated script/item data and encrypted visual-effect file support. Existing trade and storage restrictions remain enforced.
